Kasui Silversarina

I love a simple recipe that make good taste. This is one of a catch from comment column given by SilverSarina in her blog entry. Thanks KakRina, I made it right this time!

2 cups plain flour ( wheat )
1 cup tapioca floor
4 1/2 cups water
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
salt to taste
1/2 tsb kapur sirih

grated white coconut + a dash of salt

Blend all together, strain off impurities and pour into 8" diameter pan and steam. Cool off completely, cut and roll in grated coconut.

sedap nampak kasui tu.,..nak pinjam resepi boleh??
Minggu ni aini dok sibuk buat lompang tapi lupa la pulak nak ambik gambar...3 kali buat lompang..dok bawa gi rumah kawan2.

Berkenan dgn kasui sebab boleh guna tepung gandum instead tepung beras.

Kesian nya adik sorang ni. Julia sihat? Senang ja buat ni, sukat, blend, kukus.

Jun, suprisingly anak-anak saya suker! Request nak bawak balik hostel lagi... Selera anak-anak memag gitu..Anak orang suka kek, anak2 saya, kalau selain dari kek coklat & cheese cake, mama abah je lah yang kena perabih. Dia cuma ambik first bite jer.. tak berulang!

Cubalah resepi yang Silversarina kasi ni kak...InsyaAllah. Cuma waktu kukus tu, I balut penutup steamer dgn kain putih, nak elakkan wap jatuh atas kuih...kalau wap tu jadi air & menitik kat atas kuih... abis laaa

Cik Milah, thanks for stopping by kat blog I. I memang suka kueh Kosui tapi tak pernah buat ni. Kadang kadang susah sikit but kueh macam ni because I sorang saja yang makan :)
