Steamed Crab
Source:Amy Beh's Cyber Kuali My kids and husband will take the crab just like that and they finished off their portion before they start eating rice! Ingredients: 2 kg mud crabs ( I used flower crab ) (A) mix well: 100ml light soy sauce 6 tbsp rice wine ( omitted )used 3 tbsp fish sauce+3 tbsp water 4 tbsp sesame oil (B): 1/2 tsp salt or to taste ( omitted as fish sauce is salty enough ) 1/4 tsp pepper 2 chillies, sliced 50g ginger, scraped and sliced thinly 1 tbsp sliced garlic chopped spring onions for garnish I had added: tomatoes - quartert big union - slice 1/4 lemon- slice parsley Method: Cut crabs into halves and clean well. Arrange crabs in a deep dish, pour ingredients (A) over and sprinkle with ingredients (B). Steam the crabs for 15 minutes over rapidly boiling water. Remove and garnish with chopped spring onions. Serve with garlic chilli sauce.
